Mindfulness For Health

This is an 8 week course especially designed for people living with persistent pain, illness or fatigue.  Designed by Vidyamala Burch of Breathworks, this approach  teaches gentle mindfulness skills to help improve quality of life and health even in the most difficult of circumstances. On the course we explore our attitudes to pain and illness and different choices we may have of relating to our condition. We also cultivate the quality of loving kindness towards ourselves and empathy towards others.

The course will run on 8 Thursday afternoons from 2 - 4.30 pm at the Hermitage, near Criccieth, from 25th September till 13th November. The first and the final sessions will begin at 1.30 pm. Each session includes time for a break and drinks and snacks are provided.

To get to the Hermitage from Criccieth follow the B4411 towards Caernarfon. Just after the village of Rhoslan turn left towards Llangybi. This road takes you down to a bridge over a river and up the other side to a T-junction. Turn right and then soon after turn left. The Hermitage, Ynys Graianog, is the first driveway on the right..

Tara is finishing her training with Breathworks. Leading this course will form the final part of her training and will be supervised. As such it is offered at a reduced rate of £50 per person which includes all course materials.
