Staying Mindful

Follow Up sessions

Once you have completed a Mindfulness course you are warmly welcome to keep in touch and attend follow up sessions with us. Getting together with other Mindfulness practitioners for a top -up session can be very supportive and help us keep our practice alive.  The key factor in staying Mindful is remembering to give ourselves the time to stop and pause. We offer a variety of drop-in sessions,  plus a specially designed 6 week follow on course that serve to help us remember and value this more often.

The most important thing is to remember the most important thing!

Staying Mindful course:
The Staying Mindful course is for people who wish to develop and deepen their mindfulness practice after the Eight Week MBSR or MBCT course.  It is an opportunity to practice with a committed group for six consecutive weeks, to revisit and refresh the practices of the original course and explore new practices.  Essential threads of mindfulness practice are brought in as weekly themes.  These include motivation and intention to practice, important attitudes to bring to practice and barriers to practice.   We investigate ways of working with difficulties and anxiety and how to develop more self compassion.  We also look at mindful communication.  The course will take place fairly regularly in Bangor.  Contact Annee Griffiths to find out more.

Bangor Monthly Follow Up sessions :
Held on a Monday evening at the Wheldon Building , Bangor University.

Hermitage Mindfulness Mornings :
Held on a Saturday morning approximately once a month at the Hermitage near Criccieth
